Moving a workstation away from its operator can free desk space or place the computer in a more suitable room. Remote workstation setup price in Sri Lanka includes video, keyboard, mouse and any required USB functions. A working picture alone does not establish a complete usable workstation.
Equipment prices checked: 30 October 2026. This is a planning guide. Final quantities, compatibility, availability and technical charges need confirmation.
List displays and USB devices
Record monitor count, interfaces, resolution and refresh rate. Identify keyboards, mice and any specialist USB peripherals. USB extension capabilities vary, so confirm required devices rather than assuming support from the connector shape. Dual-screen operation needs equipment that supports the intended display arrangement.
Match the route and endpoint equipment
Price the correct transmitter and receiver, installed cable, video leads and power. Verify the model’s permitted link layout and cable conditions. Products using category cable are not automatically ordinary Ethernet devices. Keep the workstation’s own graphics outputs and the receiving displays in the compatibility check.
Test the real application
Use the customer’s software, monitors and peripherals for acceptance testing. Check switching, wake and restart behaviour as required. Agree who can reach the computer room for maintenance and how equipment will be labelled. Document supported settings so a later display or peripheral change does not silently break the arrangement.

Compare a complete quotation
Ask the proposal to separate equipment, accessories, delivery, technical work and optional ongoing support. Check quantities and the supplied package before comparing totals. Site access, existing infrastructure and the agreed testing can change the installation charge. No installation price is included in the equipment examples above.

Frequently asked questions
Can a single-display extender support two independent monitors?
Only if the exact equipment supports the intended dual-display arrangement. Do not infer that from a 4K label.
Will every USB peripheral work?
No. Verify supported USB functions and test the required devices before handover.
