The Level One (Germany) 16-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Switch – GSW-1657 brings desktop workgroups, shared storage and office network expansion together on a single Gigabit switching platform. Its 16-port configuration gives installers a clear basis for planning endpoint connections. Its unmanaged design is suited to installations that need dependable wired connectivity with minimal setup.
Auto-negotiation, auto-MDI/MDIX, IEEE 802.3x flow control and front-panel status indicators are supported. Automatic Ethernet negotiation helps connect devices running at different supported link speeds.
This model does not supply PoE power; connected devices need their own power source or a suitable separate injector. Fanless cooling suits quiet spaces, but ventilation openings must remain clear. Use the documented power input, mounting method and operating environment.
