Product Information
GVM-2000 adds configuration and monitoring to a Gigabit copper-to-fiber connection. Its SFP slot accepts a suitable Gigabit optical module, while the RJ45 interface connects copper Ethernet equipment. Web and SNMP management provide access to port settings, bandwidth controls and link diagnostics.
The documented VLAN, QoS, ACL and IGMP snooping functions support a planned managed network. ERPS is listed with recovery below 500ms under the supported topology and configuration; it does not make an arbitrary fiber installation redundant. Use the supplied 5V/2A adapter for standalone operation. Compatible SFP modules and fiber cabling are separate; this model does not provide PoE.
