The 2L-7DX2U is a 1.8m KVM cable assembly for compatible ATEN equipment. At the PC end it provides HDB-15 VGA, USB Type-A and microphone/speaker audio connections. The switch end uses a DVI-I Single Link connector, USB Type-B and microphone/speaker audio connections.
ATEN names the application VGA to DVI-A while specifying a DVI-I connector on the switch side. This distinction matters: the video path is analog and requires equipment that accepts analog signals through its DVI-I interface. It is not a VGA-to-digital-DVI conversion solution and should not be selected for a DVI-D-only input.
