The Level One GVM-1101 converts an RJ45 Gigabit copper link to an SC fiber interface for multi-mode installations up to 500 m. It is suited to network links where fiber is needed for distance or electrical separation. Web/SNMP management, IEEE 802.3ah OAM, link-fault pass-through, Q-in-Q VLAN, 9K jumbo frames and bandwidth limiting. Match the opposite fiber endpoint, wavelength and cable type to this model; the converter is not a PoE injector and its RJ45 port does not power a connected device.
