The Level One GVM-2002 converts an RJ45 Gigabit copper link to an SC fiber interface for single-mode installations up to 20 km. It is suited to network links where fiber is needed for distance or electrical separation. Web and SNMP management; 802.1Q VLAN, QoS, ACL, IGMP snooping, ERPS ring, port mirroring and bandwidth control. Match the opposite fiber endpoint, wavelength and cable type to this model; the converter is not a PoE injector and its RJ45 port does not power a connected device.
