Product Information
Connect a computer with USB HDMI interfaces to a compatible ATEN Cat 5 KVM switch. The compact adapter sits at the computer end of the link, converting the supported console signals for transport through the KVM cable. Automatic compensation avoids manual DIP-switch adjustments for different supported distances, while emulation helps the computer retain keyboard and mouse behavior during switching.
The RJ45 connector is a KVM link, not a general Ethernet adapter. Resolution depends on the connected switch and cable distance. Virtual media and CAC reader functions require a compatible switch and are not supported by KH1508A/KH1516A, KH1508AI/KH1516AI, KL1508A/KL1516A, KL1508AI/KL1516AI, KH2508A/KH2516A, KN2116A, KN4116, KN2132 or KN4132.
