Product Information
AR-7025Um is an external USB ADSL modem for a compatible computer and telephone-line broadband service. The exact-model December 2006 manual specifies USB 1.1 full-speed connectivity and maximum ADSL rates of 8Mbps downstream and 1Mbps upstream. The computer runs the matching driver and connection software.
This device needs an active compatible ADSL service and the provider’s connection settings. Historical Windows 98SE/Me/2000/XP drivers are documented; Linux and Mac support depends on the applicable optional driver package. It is not an Ethernet router or Wi-Fi access point. The manual lists the modem, RJ11 cable, USB cable, driver CD and setup guide; a separate mains power adapter is unnecessary.
