Product Information
GVT-2003 connects a copper Ethernet device to single-mode ST fiber. The fixed optical interface supports up to 20km under suitable fiber-link conditions. Auto-negotiation on the copper side and the documented link-fault functions support straightforward integration into a suitable network.
Match the fiber type, connector, wavelength and far-end interface before installation. The copper and optical sides must operate within the converter capabilities; a media converter does not add PoE power to the link. The official package lists a power adapter and quick installation guide. Fiber cabling and the far-end equipment are separate items.
