Product Information
The MSTronic MS-T5624G consolidates 24 Ethernet surge-protection channels into a 19-inch, 1U rack format. Each channel uses an input/output RJ45 pair, allowing it to sit inline between network cabling and compatible equipment. It is useful in CCTV and network cabinets with several copper cable runs that need a common, organised protection point.
The unit provides surge protection for data and compatible PoE lines. It does not perform Ethernet switching, offer network management, or generate a PoE power budget. Power must come from the connected PoE source, and the installation must remain within the specified 56 V and maximum 2.5 A four-pair operating limits. Mode A, Mode B and combined pair use are documented.
Standard rated Ethernet operation is 10/100/1000 Mbps. The current exact-model datasheet additionally lists 5 Gbps using CAT6A at 25°C; this conditional statement should not be treated as an unconditional 5 Gbps rating for every cable or temperature.
The rack should have a suitable earthing arrangement connected to the protector. The manufacturer documents a 14 AWG grounding lead and a 19-inch 1U mounting format. Additional patch leads, rack screws and other installation accessories are not confirmed as included. Product weight is used for the shipping weight field; packaging weight has not been added.
