The Level One GES-2108 HILBERT 8-Port Gigabit Smart Lite Managed Switch combines high-speed Gigabit Ethernet connectivity with essential network management functionality in a compact and easy-to-deploy design.

Equipped with 8 × 10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports, the GES-2108 is suitable for connecting desktop computers, servers, NAS storage, network printers, wireless access points, surveillance systems and other Ethernet-enabled network equipment.

Unlike a basic unmanaged switch, the GES-2108 provides a web-based Smart Lite management interface, allowing network administrators to configure and monitor important Layer 2 networking functions without the complexity of a fully managed enterprise switch.

16Gbps Gigabit Switching Performance

The GES-2108 provides a total 16Gbps switching capacity and a packet forwarding performance of up to 11.904 million packets per second.

This enables wire-speed traffic forwarding across the eight Gigabit Ethernet ports, providing sufficient bandwidth for applications including:
