The Level One (Germany) Turing 26-Port Gigabit L3 Lite Managed Switch with 2 SFP/RJ45 Combo Ports – GEL-2681 brings desktop workgroups, shared storage and office network expansion together on a single Gigabit switching platform. Its 26-port configuration gives installers a clear basis for planning endpoint connections and fibre uplinks. The management features let administrators organise traffic and monitor the network as it grows.
VLAN, QoS, IGMP v1/v2/v3 Snooping, static routing, link aggregation and Device Management System (DMS) are supported. VLANs can separate network traffic and QoS can prioritise time-sensitive services when correctly configured. The combo uplinks share their copper and optical connections; the two connectors in each pair do not add extra concurrent ports. Select optical modules that match the documented slot speed, fibre type, distance and far-end equipment. Transceivers and fibre cables are optional and are not listed as supplied accessories.
This model does not supply PoE power; connected devices need their own power source or a suitable separate injector. Leave ventilation clearance around the chassis and install it in an appropriately ventilated location. Use the documented power input, mounting method and operating environment. The supplied items are listed in the specifications; additional cabling, optical modules and other accessories should be selected separately for the installation.
