Product Information
Manage 16 computers from a local rack console using compact Cat 5 cabling between the switch and compatible ATEN computer adapters. This arrangement can reduce bulk around a server rack and allows cable lengths to suit individual computer positions. Daisy chaining supported switches expands the installation to 512 computers.
Each computer requires a compatible ATEN KVM adapter and suitable cable, sold separately. The 1920 x 1200 mode requires KA71xx or KA75xx adapters; allowable resolution falls as distance increases. The RJ45 KVM links are not Ethernet switch ports.
