The ATEN (Taiwan) VS1208T is a 8-Port VGA/Audio Cat 5 Splitter with video input: 1 x HDB-15 Male (Blue); video output: 1 x HDB-15 Female (Blue) – Local Output 8 x RJ-45 Female. With documented performance of 225 MHz, it helps you keep a local vga monitor available for the presenter and carry mono audio alongside the remote video feed.

Product Information

Distribute one VGA source to remote display locations using Cat 5e cable, while retaining a local monitor connection. The unit acts as the transmitter side of a distributed AV system for training, signage or presentation spaces.

Remote displays require compatible receivers, sold separately: VE170R, VE170RQ or VE172R. Resolution and range depend on the receiver: the 300 m maximum must not be read as full-resolution operation at every distance. Confirm the source, display, cable type and supported signal timing before installation. Use the power arrangement and operating environment stated in the specifications.
