The Edimax (Taiwan) EP-4203DL is a gigabit ethernet cardbus network adapter featuring 32-bit CardBus interface and 1 × 10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 LAN port. It delivers up to 1000Mbps Ethernet link speed, with auto-negotiation, auto-MDI/MDI-X, full-duplex flow control and link diagnostics.

EP-4203DL provides gigabit ethernet connectivity through a notebook’s 32-bit CardBus slot. Its single RJ45 port supports 10/100/1000Mbps and full-duplex operation with compatible network equipment. The adapter is useful when maintaining a notebook that needs a dedicated wired connection to a local network.

The host must have a CardBus-compatible PCMCIA Type II slot; a physically similar unsupported slot is insufficient. The manufacturer lists Windows 98SE/2000/XP/Vista and Linux, subject to the appropriate historical driver. The package documentation includes a driver/setup CD.
