Working Modes

Standard Mode

All ports operate within the same network, with flow control enabled. This mode is suitable for normal office and general LAN applications.

Port Isolation Mode

The eight downlink ports are isolated from one another and communicate through the uplink ports. This can help improve network isolation for applications such as IP surveillance and shared business networks.

Flow Control Disabling Mode

All ports remain within the same network while Ethernet flow control is disabled.

Gigabit + Fiber Connectivity

The S110-8T2ST provides eight Gigabit Ethernet access ports for computers, printers, network storage, IP cameras, wireless access points and other Ethernet devices.

In addition, the switch provides two dedicated uplink options:

1 × GE RJ45 Uplink – ideal for connecting to routers, gateways or another Ethernet switch using standard network cabling.

1 × GE SFP Uplink – allows compatible SFP optical modules to be used for fiber network connections, making the switch suitable for extending networks between floors, offices or network distribution locations.

Fanless and Quiet Operation

The Huawei eKitEngine S110-8T2ST uses a fanless natural heat-dissipation design. With no internal cooling fan, the switch operates quietly and reduces the number of moving components, making it suitable for offices, reception areas, shops and other noise-sensitive environments.
