Product Description

The Level One GES-2110 HILBERT 10-Port Gigabit Smart Lite Switch combines high-speed Gigabit Ethernet performance, fibre connectivity and essential Layer 2 management functions in a compact business-class network switch.

It provides 8 × 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit RJ45 ports for copper Ethernet connections together with 2 × 100/1000Mbps SFP slots for compatible fibre-optic transceivers.

This combination makes the GES-2110 particularly suitable for offices, business networks, surveillance installations and other environments requiring both standard copper Ethernet connections and fibre uplinks.

20Gbps Gigabit Switching Performance

The GES-2110 provides a total switching capacity of 20Gbps with a packet forwarding rate of up to 14.88 million packets per second.

This allows the switch to efficiently handle simultaneous Gigabit network traffic for applications such as:

Dual Gigabit SFP Connectivity

The SFP interfaces provide greater deployment flexibility than an RJ45-only desktop switch.

SFP transceiver modules are sold separately and should be selected according to the required fibre type, wavelength and transmission distance.

Smart Lite Web Management

Unlike an unmanaged Ethernet switch, the GES-2110 provides a web-based Graphic User Interface (GUI) for network configuration and monitoring.

The Smart Lite management platform gives administrators access to essential Layer 2 functions without the additional complexity of a fully managed enterprise switch.

The switch also supports LevelOne IP Locator, helping users locate compatible HILBERT switches on the network and identify their IP configuration.

Important Note

The GES-2110 is a non-PoE network switch and does not supply electrical power through its RJ45 ports.
