Product Information
The Level One POS-5000 separates a compatible IEEE 802.3bt PoE network feed into Gigabit Ethernet data and DC power for a device without its own PoE input. It is intended for equipment such as a compatible camera or access point that requires either 12 V or 24 V DC. Set the DIP switch to the voltage specified on the connected device before powering it; the device must also accept the connector and remain within the splitter’s 60 W maximum and the available upstream PoE budget. The manufacturer lists a power cable and RJ45 cable in the package. A PoE injector or PoE switch is required upstream and is not listed as included.
