The Level One (Germany) Hilbert 26-Port Gigabit Smart Lite Managed Switch with 2 SFP Slots – GES-2126 brings desktop workgroups, shared storage and office network expansion together on a single Gigabit switching platform. Its 26-port configuration gives installers a clear basis for planning endpoint connections and fibre uplinks. The management features let administrators organise traffic and monitor the network as it grows.
VLAN, QoS, IGMP Snooping, static link aggregation, port mirroring, cable testing and storm control are supported. VLANs can separate network traffic and QoS can prioritise time-sensitive services when correctly configured. Select optical modules that match the documented slot speed, fibre type, distance and far-end equipment. Transceivers and fibre cables are optional and are not listed as supplied accessories.
This model does not supply PoE power; connected devices need their own power source or a suitable separate injector. Fanless cooling suits quiet spaces, but ventilation openings must remain clear. Use the documented power input, mounting method and operating environment.
