The ATEN (Taiwan) CE-700A is a USB VGA Cat 5 KVM Extender – 150 m offering 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz over 30 m; 1280 x 1024 at 60 Hz over 150 m. It provides dual local/remote consoles and automatic signal compensation.

Product Information

Move a compatible computer console up to 150 m away using the local and remote units with a suitable Cat 5e cable. Keeping the computer in a rack or secure equipment area can free the operator position from equipment noise and clutter. Select the cable route and video mode together, since the supported resolution is tied to the link distance.

For widescreen EDID, connect a suitable local monitor or use an optional ATEN EDID emulator. USB connections are for keyboard and mouse use. The inter-unit Cat 5e cable is not listed in the supplied package and must be purchased separately. This is a dedicated KVM link, not an Ethernet network connection.
